Clara Thomas is the current Assembly Member for District 17 in the state of Nevada. She has also been a vocal advocate for criminal justice reform, including ending cash bail and reforming the state’s parole system. In addition to her legislative work, Clara Thomas has been a leader in her community. Also a local member of SEIU NV1107, she has been a mentor to young people in her district and has worked to create opportunities for them to succeed. She has also been a strong advocate for small businesses, helping them to access resources and support.
